Our yard is at Dillybrook Business Park, Southwick — about 25 minutes from Bath via the A36, the A366 and the B3109. The outdoor units are insulated steel containers on the ground floor with 24/7 drive-up access; the lower-cost units are inside an access-controlled building, on the hours shown on each unit.

About Bath

Bath is a Somerset city in the valley of the River Avon, named after its Roman-built baths: around 60 AD the Romans built baths and a temple here, and the spa took the Latin name Aquae Sulis. Bath Abbey was founded in the 7th century, and the present abbey church dates from the early 16th century. In the 18th century the city became the centre of fashionable life in England — many of its streets and squares were laid out by John Wood, the Elder, and its Georgian architecture in golden Bath stone includes the Royal Crescent, the Circus, the Grand Pump Room, the Assembly Rooms and Robert Adam’s Pulteney Bridge. Jane Austen lived in Bath in the early 19th century, and the city became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

Bath today

Bath has over 6 million visitors a year. Its attractions include the spas — Thermae Bath Spa, a new hot-water spa in the city centre, opened in 2006 — canal boat tours, the Royal Crescent, Parade Gardens, Sydney Gardens and Royal Victoria Park, which hosts carnivals and seasonal events. It has five theatres, including the Theatre Royal, and museums including the Holburne Museum, the Victoria Art Gallery and the Fashion Museum. The city has two universities — the University of Bath and Bath Spa University — and its shopping areas include SouthGate shopping centre. From a locker to a 20 ft container

Units run from 15 sq ft to a 160 sq ft (20 ft) container. As a rough guide: 15 to 20 sq ft takes boxes, a bike or the contents of a box room; 29 to 40 sq ft a one-bedroom flat or a garage clear-out; 80 sq ft the contents of a two- or three-bedroom house; 160 sq ft a large family home or business stock. For stock, tools, equipment or archive boxes, the outdoor containers have 24/7 drive-up access, so a van can load at the door at any hour. The 160 sq ft (20 ft) container takes business stock; 15 to 20 sq ft suits boxes.
